State Project Cheese Curds at Winter Park Farmers Market

I had the pleasure of meeting Emir Akar, the owner of The Curds. Emir brings his experience in the farmers market business together with his Turkish roots and his early connection to Wisconsin to create a unique offering centered around fresh cheese curds. The business began when Emir and a friend combined their experience and investment to build something of their own, with their cheese and ingredients sourced from Wisconsin and the surrounding area.

For Emir, the best part of the Winter Park Farmers Market is the people. He says that even when he arrives tired in the morning, connecting and talking with customers quickly brings his energy back.
